FOIPub is designed around public information. The current site does not require a user account to search the civic record, read meeting briefs, compare verified votes, use Meeting Ready, or draft a public-records request.
Records Request Builder
Your draft stays client-side.
The Records Request Builder assembles request language in the browser. Copying or downloading the draft does not submit it to FOIPub or to the City. You decide whether and where to send it.
Citizen filings
Public does not mean publish everything.
FOIPub may index civic filings that enter the public record, but it avoids republishing unnecessary personal addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and similar contact details merely because they appear in a government document.
Feedback builder
Your suggestion stays in your browser until you send it.
The Suggestions page can format and download a feedback message without creating an account or silently transmitting what you type. Copying or downloading the message is not the same as submitting it.
External sources
Official links leave FOIPub.
Links to City websites, YouTube, government documents and other outside sources are governed by those services' own privacy and logging practices.
Technical note
Normal hosting infrastructure still exists.
Like most websites, FOIPub is delivered through hosting and network providers that may process ordinary technical request information needed to serve and protect the site. FOIPub should not promise that visiting a webpage creates no technical logs anywhere.
